When is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 to 10:30 am.


What are the check-in and check-out times?

Your room will be available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am.


Is a deposit required for booking?

In general, no deposit is required (except for non-refundable rates).
To guarantee your reservation, we kindly ask for a valid credit card. A pre-authorization will be made prior to arrival – no amount will be charged, but a certain sum will be temporarily reserved.
The stay can then be paid conveniently on site.


Where is ADLER Historic Guesthouse located?

ADLER Historic Guesthouse is located in the heart of Brixen’s historic centre, directly on the Eisack promenade at the entrance to the old town.
The cathedral square, restaurants, cafés and shops are all within a short walking distance.
At the same time, the house is an ideal starting point for excursions into the Dolomites, which are about 30 minutes away.


Can I arrive by car?

Our house is located in the historic centre of Brixen.
For arrival by car, please note:

  1. Enter “Via Cesare Battisti 1, Brixen” in your navigation system.
  2. Cross the Adler Bridge and turn right.
  3. Park your car along the wall – we will assist you with your luggage and take care of parking in our underground garage.

Parking fee: €18.00 per night


How do I get from the train station to the hotel?

Arriving by train or bus? Wonderful – we appreciate your green choice.
From Brixen train station, the hotel can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.
Alternatively, take city bus 320.4 towards Neustift, get off at “Adlerbrücke” and cross the bridge to reach the hotel.


When will I receive the Brixen Südtirol Card?

You will receive the Südtirol Card by email at check-in.
It allows you to use public transport and enjoy various offers from over 100 partner businesses, mountain lifts, museums and the Acquarena free of charge.


What makes ADLER Historic Guesthouse special?

The ADLER Historic Guesthouse is a Design Boutique Hotel in Brixen. It combines a historic building in Brixen’s old town with clear, minimalist design and authentic South Tyrolean hospitality.
A quiet, refined retreat in the centre of the city – and at the same time a gateway to the mountains of the Eisack Valley.


How would you describe the atmosphere?

The atmosphere is calm, refined and consciously reduced.
Minimalist design, warm materials and the historic surroundings create a relaxed, almost meditative mood – a retreat that feels both modern and personal.


What defines the design of the house?

Clear lines, natural materials and reduced forms define the design.
Historic architecture is combined with contemporary elements to create a timeless and harmonious atmosphere where every detail is carefully considered.


Are spa bags available in the rooms?

A spa bag with bathrobes and slippers awaits you in your room.


Are pets allowed?

Dogs are welcome on request.
We charge €25.00 per day (excluding food).
Upon request, we provide a dog bed and bowl.
Please note that pets are not allowed in the spa area.


What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellations are free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
Up to 3 days before arrival, we charge 50%, and thereafter – as well as in case of no-show or early departure – 100% of the stay.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
We recommend taking out travel insurance.


Is there a restaurant at ADLER?

ADLER does not have its own restaurant.
Within a few minutes’ walk, you will find our VITIS wine bar and the Finsterwirt restaurant, offering regional cuisine and a carefully curated selection of wines.


Is there a pool with a view of the old town?

Yes – a heated rooftop pool offers a unique view over the rooftops of Brixen.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

Yes, all rooms are air-conditioned.

There, you can enjoy regional cuisine and a carefully curated selection of wines.


Is there a pool with a view of the old town?

Yes – a heated rooftop pool offers a unique view over the rooftops of Brixen.


What activities are available in summer?

In summer, Brixen combines mountain activities, nature, culture and gastronomy – all just a few minutes from ADLER.
The surrounding area offers a wide range of hiking trails, from gentle walks to more demanding tours.
Cycling and mountain biking are also popular, especially around the Plose.
The historic old town invites you to explore its streets, boutiques and cafés.


What activities are available in winter?

In winter, Brixen offers skiing on the Plose, winter hiking, sledging, cross-country skiing and a charming old town atmosphere.
The Plose ski area is only a few minutes away and offers well-prepared slopes and panoramic views of the Dolomites.


Which hiking trails start directly at the hotel?

Several walking and hiking paths start directly from ADLER, including routes along the Eisack promenade and around the town.
The hiking areas of the Plose are just a short distance away.


What types of rooms are available at ADLER?

ADLER offers a variety of individually designed room categories.
They differ in size, location within the building and view – for example towards the old town, the mountains or quieter surroundings.
All rooms combine historic elements with modern, minimalist design.


How many rooms does the hotel have?

ADLER offers a total of 43 units.


Can families stay at ADLER?

Yes, families are welcome.
Some rooms can be prepared with an extra bed or baby cot.


What are the rates for children?

We are happy to provide an extra bed:
0–2 years: €30.00
3–13 years: €59.00
14+ years: €95.00


What is the tourist tax in Brixen?

A tourist tax of €3.80 per person and night applies to guests aged 14 and over.
This is not included in the room rate and is payable on departure.


Has the hotel received any awards?

Following its renovation in 2023, ADLER has been featured in several international architecture and design magazines.
The project was designed by the architecture studio bergmeisterwolf.


Are vegetarian or vegan options available for breakfast?

Yes, we offer vegetarian and vegan options.
We are also happy to accommodate dietary requirements such as gluten-free or lactose-free – please inform us in advance.
